For construction jobs and general all-around boring of deep, clean holes. 12" twist, 18" overall. Solid center. Double cutter. New 2-way hex shank, furnished with taper square shank for use with bit brace. Can be cut off between square shank and twist for use as a straight shank auger bit in electric drills. Hex shape of shank allows use of straight shank in bit braces as well as drills.
