The Summit S470 gas grill features a stainless steel enclosed cart with chrome-plated cast aluminum handles. All grillshave an accent-colored painted steel frame and a stainless steel shroud with polished handle and trim, a center mountedthermometer with accent-colored painted cast aluminum end caps. The cooking system, rated at 48,800 BTU, includes 4 stainless steel burners plus a separate Sear Station burner that includes an additional 10,600 BTU, all with a Snap-Jet individual burner ignition system. The cooking grates are 9mm diameter stainless steel rods. Lighted control panel uses 3 Dsize batteries to light the controls. The grill also features stainless steel Flavorizer bars. The primary cooking areameasures 468 sq. in., the warming rack measures 112 sq. in., giving a total cooking area of 580 sq. in. It has a 12,000BTU side burner, and 6800 BTU smoker burner, and smoker box great for smoking turkeys, ribs, and more.
